AlwaysFreeRegister: RM20 Billion In Annual Revenue Expected By Plastic Recyclers In Malaysia

If there are more investments (especially in infrastructure, technology, and upgraded capacity), plastic recyclers' contributions to the economy in Malaysia is expected to increase between RM15 billion and RM20 billion annually.


In order to make the plastics recycling industry to develop into a sustainable economy, the Malaysian Plastics Recyclers Association (MPRA) and the Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association (MPMA) said the country needed to go hi-tech.


The contribution of RM4.5 billion had been given by the plastics recycling industry to the economy. By catalyzing the development of a circular economy and converting waste to wealth, they looked for growth opportunities.
