Import offers for ethylene-based PVC on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis
As SSESSMENTS.COM noted Thai PVC offers to China received an unfavourable response from buyers. This week, a China-based trader reported on receiving import PVC offers from a Thai producer at $665/ton on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis, for purchases of 500 tons. However, buyers voiced out buy idea at $630-635/ton-level citing such a level is reasonable considering the ample domestic supply and the downtrend in China PVC market.
According to SSESSMENTS.COM’s pricing database, on April 2, PVC cargoes from the same producer sold to Southeast Asia market at $790/ton on LC at sight, CFR Singapore Port.
