Market sources informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the leading Indian PVC producer has announced a price adjustment on April 9. With effect from April 10, the producer will implement a reduction on local PVC offers by INR3,000/ton ($40/ton). India is currently in the midst of a three-week lockdown and scheduled to end on April 14. However, Prime Minister Modi indicated the lockdown may have to stay in place beyond April 14 as India faces an uphill battle to contain Coronavirus outbreaks.
