NewsSSESSMENTS: Triggered By China Domestic Market Trend, Thai PE Producer Adjusts Export Prices

Author: SSESSMENTS

Triggered by China domestic market trend, a Thai PE producer adjusted up its export prices to China, a producer source informed SSESSMENTS.COM. As China market is on bullish sentiment and local prices are on an uptrend, the producer decided to adjust up offers to China market this week. As reported on Thursday afternoon, April 9, HDPE Film and LDPE Film offers went up by $20/ton and $25/ton, respectively. While offers for LLDPE Film C4 surfaced with a significant increase of $50/ton. All changes compared to offers announced on Friday, April 3.

Speaking of feedback, market response towards the upward adjustments is not that good so far. To date, the producer only managed to sell HDPE Film cargoes, with some deals concluded at $10/ton lower than the initial level, SSESSMENTS.COM was told.
