StatsSSESSMENTS: Thai PE May Import Stats - Reported by Thailand

According to Thai Customs Department, the total imports of PE have declined by around 44.9k tons in May compared to the previous month, at around 46,428 tons.

The top 5 import origins of PE to Thailand in May were Saudi Arabia (8,208 tons), United States (8,186 tons), Malaysia (7,464 tons), Singapore (5,463 tons) and United Arab Emirates (4,469 tons). The decrease in import volume of Malaysia PE in May was the highest compared to other origins, at about 10,064 tons compared to April.

For HDPE, the total import quantity has reduced by around 16.16k tons in May compared to the previous month, at around 11,852 tons. The top 5 import origins of HDPE to Thailand in May were the United States (2,301 tons), Saudi Arabia (1,527 tons), Singapore (1,510 tons), United Arab Emirates (1,472 tons), and Malaysia (1,280 tons)

For LDPE, the total import quantity has decreased by around 14.1k tons in May compared to the previous month, at around 19,512 tons. The top 5 import origins of LDPE to Thailand in May were Malaysia (6,092 tons), Saudi Arabia (3,061 tons), Singapore (2,280 tons), Qatar (2,193 tons) and the United States (1,377 tons) .

Meanwhile, the total import quantity for LLDPE has shrunk by around 14.6k tons in May compared to the previous month, at around 29,708 tons. The top 5 import origins of LLDPE to Thailand were the United States (4,508 tons), Saudi Arabia (3,620 tons), United Arab Emirates (2,037 tons), Singapore (1,637 tons), and China (1,019 tons).
