AlwaysFree: Hapag-Lloyd's Service Shipping Update Between Australia And South East Asia

  • If you are shipping to and from Oceania, March 2023 is coming up with three new services between South East Asia and Australia!

According to the company’s website news release on January 19, 2023: 

South East Asia - Australia (SAL) Service

Starting on March 2023, our SAL service will be covering the following ports:

  • Port Kelang (MY) - Tanjung Pelepas (MY) - Singapore (SG) - Melbourne (AU) - Sydney (AU) - Adelaide (AU) - Fremantle (AU) - Port Kelang (MY)

For your reference, the first vessel on the SAL service will be MV Maersk Stralsund V. 310S/313N with an estimated arrival at Tanjung Pelepas (MY) on March 9, 2023. The previous port coverage under the same service code will end with MV Navios Domino (or a substitute) V. 2102S/N with an estimated arrival at Jakarta (ID) on February 24, 2023.

South East Asia - Australia Loop 2 (SEA) Service

The coverage for our SEA service from March 2023 will be the following:

  • Tanjung Pelepas (MY) - Singapore (SG) - Brisbane (AU) - Sydney (AU) - Brisbane (AU) - Tanjung Pelepas (MY)

The first vessel, MV GSL Christel Elisabeth V. 310S/313N is expected to arrive at Tanjung Pelepas (MY) on March 6, 2023. With this new service, we will be replacing the previous port coverage under the same service code between Malaysia, Singapore and Australia with a last sailing by MV. Sydney Express V. 310S/311N with an estimated arrival at Tanjung Pelepas (MY) on March 5, 2023.

South East Asia - Australia Loop 3 (S2A) service

As a final note, our S2A service's rotation will cover Malaysia, Singapore and Australia in the following sequence:

  • Tanjung Pelepas (MY) - Singapore (SG) - Fremantle (AU) - Tanjung Pelepas (MY)

The service will kick off with a sailing expected at Tanjung Pelepas (MY) on March 27, 2023. This three-port rotation will be replacing the connection under the same service code where the last vessel will be MV CMA CGM Maupassant V. 308S/310N expected to arrive at Tanjung Pelepas (MY) on February 24, 2023.
