AlwaysFree: INEOS Backs Scotland’s Carbon Capture, Storage

On Friday, INEOS said that it would back the development of Scotland’s first carbon capture storage system.

The company will work together with the Acorn project to capture and store carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Acorn is seeking to store CO2 under the North Sea.

INEOS will explore options for emissions from its Grangemouth petrochemicals plant and oil refinery.
