According to Thai Customs Department, the total imports of PE have surged by 10.3k tons in March compared to the previous month, at 47,346 tons.
The top 5 import origins of PE to Thailand in March were Saudi Arabia (9,377 tons), Malaysia (8,434 tons), United States (7,762 tons), Singapore (5,628 tons) and United Arab Emirates (4,244 tons). The increase in import volume of Malaysia PE in March was the highest compared to other origins, at about 3,406 tons compared to February.
For HDPE, the total imported quantity has adjusted up by 4k tons in March compared to the previous month at around 15.4k tons. The top 5 import origins of HDPE to Thailand in March were the United States (3,526 tons), Saudi Arabia (2,061 tons), Singapore (2,050 tons), United Arab Emirates (1,584 tons) and Qatar (895 tons).
For LDPE, the total import quantity has risen by 4.4k tons in March compared to the previous month at around 19.1k. The top 5 import origins of LDPE to Thailand in March were Malaysia (5,351 tons), Saudi Arabia (4,168 tons), Singapore (2,259 tons), Qatar (1,479 tons) and the United States (1,084 tons).
For LLDPE the total import quantity for LLDPE has increased by 1.8k tons in March compared to February, at around 12.8k tons. The top 5 import origins of LLDPE to Thailand in March were the United States (3,151 tons), Saudi Arabia (3,148 tons), United Arab Emirates (1,754 tons), Malaysia (1,339 tons), and Singapore (1,319 tons).
