According to the company’s website news release on September 23, 2022, as the Golden Week national holiday period in China approaches, Maersk is looking to balance the network in light of forecasted reductions in demand.
Maersk’s overall goal is to ensure minimal disruption to customers before, during and after Golden Week, with structural changes and alternative routings in place to enhance supply chain predictability.
