On Tuesday, Algeria’s Energy Minister Mohamed Arkab stated that the country was meeting its contractual obligations for supplying natural gas to Europe.
To Spain, Algeria has supplied 8 bcm of gas and will increase the volume to 10.6 bcm in December with the expansion of the Medgaz pipeline.
