On Sunday, Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al-Saud announced that state-run Saudi Aramco had found two new oil and gas fields in the country.
The new Abraq al-Toloul oil field in the southeast of the northern city of Arar has a daily flow rate of 3,189 bpd of Arab light crude oil and 3.5 mcfd of natural gas. The other one is Hadabat Al Hajara gas field, located in the Al Jof region with a daily production rate of 16 mcf, with 1,944 bpd of oil condensate.
According to the minister, Aramco is taking efforts to assess the total amount of oil and gas in the two fields and is drilling more wells to determine their areas and capacities.
