AlwaysFree: Borealis, Renasci Sign Supply Deal On Chemically-Recycled Feedstock For Polyolefins Production

Borealis Group AG has signed a deal to secure the entire output of chemically-recycled feedstock from the ISCC PLUS-certified recycling centre operated by Renasci Oostende Recycling NV in Belgium. The deal will strengthen Borealis’ position as the world’s leading supplier of chemically recycled polyolefins and base chemicals. Renasci converts household and industrial waste at its Oostende recycling plant into feedstock. Borealis will use the resulting feedstock to feed its cracker in Porvoo, Finland, which is also ISCC PLUS-certified. Borealis’ Borocycle C product portfolio enables the transformation of plastic waste into circular high-performance products and applications.
