Brunei Methanol postpones the restart of its plant in Sungai Liang until an unspecified date this month. The restart of the 850,000 tons/year unit was initially scheduled for last week. However, it was delayed due to continuing issues with its upstream unit, which was also under maintenance. Both plants were shut for maintenance on July 1. Japan's Mitsubishi Gas Chemical (MGC) partially owns Brunei Methanol.
