Down from US$ 169.84 million in September 2018, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk posted a net profit of US$ 31.45 million in Q3 2019. The decrease was caused by a decline in the company’s revenue as much as 29.28 percent year-over-year.
At the end of Q3, the company’s revenue was US$ 1.38 billion, down from US$ 1.96 billion at the end of the same period last year. From US$ 337.4 million, EBITDA down 53.9 percent to US$ 155.4 million.
President Director of PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk Suryandi said the decline in revenue was caused by the slowing economy globally and scheduled turnaround maintenance in factories owned by the company, resulted in a decrease in the sale when compared with the previous period.
