Cheniere Energy expects financial results for 2021 to be at the high end of guidance ranges which will help it expand liquefaction capacity at its Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi LNG export plants. The company said the LNG market had remained extremely resilient thanks to improving demand from Asia. Cheniere plans to make a final investment decision for Corpus Christi Stage 3 by 2022. Cheniere has secured several deals on LNG supply from the Corpus Christi Stage 3, including with Apache, EOG Resources, and Canada’s Tourmaline. It also expects the completion of Sabine Pass Train 6 by the first quarter of 2022.
