On Sunday, the US biggest oil products pipeline, Colonial Pipeline, stated that it had shut its main distillate fuel line as Hurricane Delta disrupted electric power.
Previously on Saturday, Line 2 was closed, pending the restoration of commercial power to stations upstream of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On the same day, its main gasoline line resumed operations.
On Friday evening, Delta made landfall in southwestern Louisiana as a Category 2 hurricane but had weakened by Sunday.
