On Monday, ConocoPhillips announced its plans for the development of a gas and condensate discovery in Norway.
For the Tommeliten A gas and condensate discovery, ConocoPhillips will invest up to NOK12.5 billion (USD1.46 billion) for it to begin production in 2024. The discovery is located in the southern sector of Norway's North Sea and is estimated to hold reserves corresponding to 125 million boe.
ConocoPhillips is the operator of the discovery and, along with its partners, aims to produce the reserves with an installation on the seabed connected to existing infrastructure at Conoco's Ekofisk field, roughly 25 km (16 miles) away.
