AlwaysFree: Duqm Project To Use OQ Chemicals’ Technology For Propylene, Ethylene Derivatives Production

Duqm Refinery and Petrochemicals Industries Company (DRPIC) in Oman will use proprietary technologies from OQ Chemicals (previously known as Oxea) for the production of propylene and ethylene derivatives. Under the contract, OQ will provide Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) services for production units of propanol, butyraldehyde, 2EH acid, neopentyl glycol (NPG), and 2-Ethylhexanol (2EH). OQ will also support contractors during the design and construction phase and provide services after commissioning, such as maintenance support, troubleshooting, personnel training, and process optimization.
