On Wednesday, Freeport LNG said that its export plant in Texas was still down due to a power outage during Tropical Storm Nicholas.
The plant is on track to exit the outage after taking in some natural gas dosage earlier in the day. However, until the local power company CenterPoint completes repair work on their system, its production remains offline.
According to Refinitiv, Freeport was still set to take in around 0.7 bcfd of natural gas on Wednesday, up from 0.1 bcfd on Tuesday. However, it was still lower than the original plan to take 0.9 bcfd of gas, along with the average of 2.0 bcfd pulled in over the past 30 days.
Other liquefied natural gas (LNG) export plants in the Gulf Coast continued to operate in the storm.
