On Friday, McDermott International Inc. announced that the second liquefaction train at Freeport LNG Development, L.P.’s had started commercial operations.
After the successful commissioning of the second train, Zachry and McDermott would focus on delivering the final train in cooperation with Chiyoda.
Meanwhile, Train 3 is scheduled to start producing liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the first quarter of 2020.
