Gazprom EP International eyes investment prospects in Algeria.
On Thursday, the company held discussions between Algeria’s Energy Minister Mohamed Arkab and the Gazprom subsidiary's Managing Director Sergey Tumanov. The talks focused on investment in exploration, production, transport, and developing gas infrastructure, as well as gas marketing.
Recently, Algeria has approved a new energy law offering tax incentives for foreign investors with the targets of overcoming stagnation in oil and gas output and raising exports.
