W. R. Grace & Co. on November 9 announced that it had won a contract to provide a license for UNIPOL® polypropylene (PP) Process Technology to PT Pertamina Rosneft Pengolahan dan Petrokimia (PRPP), a joint venture between Indonesia’s state-owned PT Pertamina and Russia’s Rosneft. The technology will be used at PRPP’s two new PP lines in Tuban, Indonesia, which will be capable of producing up to 1.16 million tons/year of PP. Under the contract, Grace will also supply its CONSISTA® 6th generation catalyst and provide its UNIPOL® PP UNIPPAC Process Control (UUPC) Software to PRPP.
