Independent supplier of polyolefin catalyst technology and polypropylene (PP) process technology, W. R. Grace & Co., has licensed its UNIPOL PP Process Technology to Dongguan Grand Resource Science & Technology Co. Ltd. (DGR) for its new PP facility in China.
Aside from the license, the cooperation includes a long-term catalyst supply agreement between the two firms which enables DGR to produce a wide variety of resin grades and provide more PP options to its customers in the China market.
The planned facility is located in Guangdong with a proposed capacity of 600 KTA of PP. The construction project is planned to be finished in 2023.
