India will receive two cargoes of LPG from UAE’s ADNOC to make up a shortage of Saudi Arabian supplies. India’s oil minister Dharmendra Pradhan via twitter said that ADNOC had agreed to sell the LPG cargoes on an urgent basis to meet the anticipated higher demand during the upcoming festive season.
The LPG cargoes will be delivered in the next two months. These additional cargoes will offset reduced imports from Saudi Arabia, which cut refinery throughput to meet its oil exports commitment following the attacks on the kingdom’s oil facilities.
