On Wednesday, the Iraqi oil ministry announced its assessments that the oil pipeline connecting the country to Jordan’s Aqaba port should cost under USD9 billion.
At the moment, the bilateral negotiations regarding the project have reached advanced stages which include technical and commercial issues.
Iraq and Jordan aim to reduce the implementation costs of the project to add economic value to both countries.
