On Thursday, the Turkish Lira plunged near record low against the US Dollar following the central bank’s policy easing.
The Lira dipped by 1.5% to 8.808/USD after the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) slashed its policy rate by 100 bp.
Before the rate announcement, the currency was at 8.6550/USD. After falling, it went up slightly to 8.77/USD.
