The Louisiana Offshore Oil Port (LOOP) has restarted some operations after being suspended ahead of Hurricane Ida. The company said that it is working with shippers to receive and deliver crude oil to some refineries in the region. Previously, LOOP said it was conducting repairs on damages caused by the storm. LOOP is the only deepwater oil export terminal in the US that is capable of handling Very Large Crude Carriers. Meanwhile, NuStar Energy said on September 10 it had fully restarted operations at its crude terminal in St. James after regaining access to the power supply.
