On Thursday, the French asset management group Meeschaert AM announced that it would vote against French energy giant Total’s climate change resolution.
The group would vote against resolution 14 on Total's climate policies for 2030 at the company's annual general shareholders meeting. It would also press the energy giant to do more to tackle climate change.
"Meeschaert AM wants to make climate change a key issue at the shareholders' meeting of all big CO2 emitters," the group said.
