AlwaysFree: NextChem And Suez Sign An Agreement To Develop Their Collaboration On Waste-To-Chemicals Technology And Projects In Italy

According to the company’s website press release on February 9, 2023, Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. announces that NextChem, through its subsidiary MyRechemical, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SUEZ International Italian Branch aimed at further developing their existing collaboration on Waste-toChemicals projects in Italy. The agreement was signed during Ecomondo, the key event in Europe for technological and industrial innovation in the green and circular economy sectors, within the framework of the NextGenerationEU. 

NextChem and SUEZ are already successfully collaborating on various projects and feasibility studies in Italy, among which the Waste-to-Methanol & Hydrogen project in Empoli, which is based on NextChem’s Waste-to-Chemicals technology. 

This agreement will set the basis for the possible participation of SUEZ as an industrial player and as a potential investing partner in other NextChem’s Waste-to-Chemicals projects in Italy, leveraging on NextChem’s technological expertise and Suez’s global leadership in waste and water management”.
