On Monday, the Netherlands’ OCI N.V. announced its strategic alliance with two leading global investors, ADQ and Alpha Dhabi Holding which put 15% of the OCI Methanol group for a total consideration of USD375 million.
As part of the alliance, OCI Methanol Group will be incorporated as an ADGM company in Abu Dhabi. It will focus on clean methanol with hydrogen as the main feedstock.
For OCI Methanol, the strategic alliance enables it to drive and accelerate the transition to a hydrogen economy.
In relation to their investment in OCI Methanol Group, ADQ and Alpha Dhabi Holding were being advised by Chimera Capital.
