According to the Government of India press release on February 3, 2023, Minister for DoNER Shri. G. Kishan Reddy Chaired a review meeting on the budgetary expenditure by DoNER and NEC in the presence of Senior Officers from North Eastern State Governments. Secretary, MDoNER and other senior officers of MDoNER were also present in the meeting.
Minister called upon the officials to ensure 100% expenditure from the budget while ensuring full compliance with the new CNA System. He also asked the State Governments to provide the pending UCs and ensure full expenditure in on-going projects as well as expeditiously submit DPRs for new project proposals.
Minister directed Senior Officers of MDoNER, NEC and State Governments to conduct meetings on weekly basis to review the status of expenditure and ensure 100% utilization of budgetary funds.
