Russia and Serbia have agreed on gas prices for the upcoming six months at the current price of USD270/1,000 m3.
The agreement was reached after Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic asked Russia for favorable gas prices last month as he plans to buy around 3 bcmpa of Russian gas for the upcoming 10 years to cover most of Serbia’s gas requirement.
Meanwhile, the Russian gas giant Gazprom has previously estimated that in 2021, the average gas price in Europe would exceed USD300/1,000 m3.
