Russia is optimistic that energy giant Gazprom would be able to fill Europe’s gas storage after November 8.
Gazprom’s head Alexei Miller commented, “As soon as we finish pumping gas into the UGS (underground gas storage) in Russia, we will start pumping our Gazprom’s gas into European UGS.”
Miller had also stated that Gazprom would be able to hit its target level of up to 72.6 bcm in gas domestic storage by November 1. Inventories would be completely filled by November 8.
