Saint-Gobain’s French subsidiary Placoplatre has sold its expanded polystyrene (EPS) business in France to HIRSCH Servo Group and BEWiSynbra Group. The deal will be effective by the end of this year.
The EPS business has six industrial sites, employing 240 workforces, with sales of nearly EUR70 million (USD77.7 million) in 2018.
Saint-Gobain is proceeding with its divestment program although its initial target of EUR3 billion (USD3.33 billion) by the end of the year was already being fulfilled.
