Major container shipping liners will provide new services in the Southeast Asian trade route, highlighting a recovery of demand in the region. Singapore-based Ocean Network Express will introduce a new weekly China-Indonesia-Malaysia service (CIM service) that includes Hong Kong–Nansha–Shekou–Surabaya–Semarang–Jakarta–Port Kelang–Hong Kong starting from November 23.
France’s CMA CGM will also launch a new weekly service that includes Hong Kong–Nansha–Shekou–Surabaya–Semarang–Jakarta–Port Klang (North)– Port Klang (West)–Hong Kong. This service will be available starting on November 14.
Taiwan-based container shipping liner Wan Hai Lines will provide a new weekly service that includes Hong Kong–Nansha–Shekou–Surabaya–Semarang–Jakarta–Port Kelang–Hong Kong, starting from November 14. Wan Hai will also launch a new service that connects China and India. This service includes Dalian – Shanghai – Ningbo – Hong Kong – Shekou – Singapore - Port Kelang West Port – Port Kelang North Port – Colombo – Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Port Kelang North Port – Shekou – Dalian and will be available starting on November 15.
