Sinochem International Corp. has started the building of its first overseas polymer additives facility in Thailand.
The plant is located in Rojana Industrial Park, Thailand, covering 64,000 sqm with a total investment of CNY290 million (USD41.8 million).
The plant is targeted to have a production capacity of 25,000 tpa of rubber antioxidant and will start operating later in 2020.
The facility is expected to fill the gap in rubber antioxidant production in Southeast Asia and provide local supplies. It will be a model facility for the region as it is eco-friendly, energy-saving and sustainable.
