SOCAR Trading announced that it has placed the lowest-recorded spot buying offer of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for Pakistan LNG Ltd. for delivery in late August.
The offer is around 5.74% lower from Brent crude oil prices or USD2.2/mmBtu, the record-low LNG price obtained by Pakistan LNG.
The cargo is to be delivered between August 27-28.
The document expressed the document as a slope of crude oil prices and would normally indicate the opaque spot LNG market.
