On Tuesday, SOCAR Turkey detailed its Turkey investment in front of the Azerbaijani media.
The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR)’s Turkey arm said that its investment in the country exceeds USD16.5 billion.
Director-General Zaur Gahramanov elaborated that USD6.3 billion is allocated for Star refinery, USD600 million for SOCAR Depolama, and USD400 million for SOCAR container terminal.
The company invests USD2.04 billion in Petkim privatization and about USD100 million annually. SOCAR Turkey also allocated USD6.5 billion for the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP).
