Some sources reported that Canada’s TC Energy Corp. would cut its crude volumes in the Keystone oil pipeline for the rest of October after declaring force majeure due to a snowstorm in Manitoba over the weekend.
For the rest of this month, the company will cut around 20% of the volumes entering the Keystone pipeline from Canada, and the timeline for a return to full operations is still undecided.
The company’s Marketlink pipeline is also likely to be disrupted by the outage, mainly the transfer to Cushing, Oklahoma.
