On Wednesday, Spain’s gas system operator Enagas said that it has suspended part of liquefied natural gas (LNG) delivery slots of supply to execute technical checks.
Enagas halted the bidding for slots from October 2020 to September 2021 in the auction to allocate capacity at Spain’s LNG terminals for the next 15 years, which started on Monday. The company did not reveal when the auction for the period would restart.
The suspension is for security and to guarantee the strength of the system.
The auction for all available slots is scheduled to finish on July 31.
