- Petrobras, Galp Energia Brasil and Companhia de Gás do Rio Grande do Sul (Sulgás) were the winning carriers to be awarded transport services contracts offered in the recent Public Open Season 04/2022 for the allocation of Annual Firm Capacity Products in the Entry and Exit Regimen, available through the TBG Gas Pipeline for the period running from 2023 to 2027.
According to the company’s website news release on December 30, 2022, Petrobras, Galp Energia Brasil and Companhia de Gás do Rio Grande do Sul (Sulgás) were the winning carriers to be awarded transport services contracts offered in the recent Public Open Season 04/2022 for the allocation of Annual Firm Capacity Products in the Entry and Exit Regimen, available through the TBG Gas Pipeline for the period running from 2023 to 2027.
Petrobras contracted firm natural gas capacity at Entry Points EMED GASCAR/SP and Corumbá/MS and at Output Zones SP1 and SP2 (São Paulo) in 2023, and contracted at Output Zone RS1 (Rio Grande do Sul) in 2027.
Galp contracted firm capacity carrier services starting at the at the EMED GASCAR Entry Point for 2023, and Sulgás, at the RS1 Exit Zone in 2027.
According to the Open Season procedure, natural gas carriers will sign the new contracts on Friday, December 30th. The start-up of the service provision operation contracts is scheduled for January 1, 2023.
