French energy major TotalEnergies said that it is not into big acquisitions in the renewables sector due to its high valuations.
CEO Patrick Pouyanne commented, "I shall tell you why we would not do it. It is because those sorts of companies, and there are a few others such as Orsted and some other well-known names... they are extremely expensive."
He also played down the Engie bid talk, elaborating that TotalEnergies is a bit bigger.
