According to TASS, Russia's state-owned news agency article published on October 18, 2022, negotiations between Turkey and Russia on payments for gas continue and there are no problems in this regard, official spokesman of the Turkish leader Ibrahim Kalin said on Tuesday on the air with the A Haber TV Channel.
"Our company Botas is holding talks with the Russian side. Meetings continue; there are no problem in regards to payments and supplies of gas," Kalin said
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on September 16 after a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit that an agreement had been reached on the Turkish side's payment for 25% of Russian gas supplies, payable in rubles.
