The sanction from the United States imposed on Iran took effect since last Monday after the announcement in December, as the result of U.S accusations over the country as supporter and owner of nuclear as mass destruction weapons.
The Secretary Of State Mike Pompeo warned maritime industries, commercial and governments around the world about the risks if they have business with IRISL, Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines and its subsidiaries based in Shanghai, E-Sail Shipping Company. The sanction was announced last December but take effect on June by reason of giving time for exporters to change their shipping methods.
Pompeo also asked governments around the world to help surveillance and investigate activities by above lines in their ports and seas, as the above lines are accused to be repeatedly transporting items related to Iranian military programs such as ballistic missile and nuclear weapons.
