AlwaysFree: US Imposes Sanctions On IRISL-Linked 121 Vessels

The US Treasury Department on Monday imposed additional secondary sanctions on 121 vessels, including two crude carriers, six bunkering tankers and seven products/chemical tankers, owned or linked to IRISL Group, a shipping line based in Iran. However, industry sources expect limited impact on crude and oil product markets. Two crude tankers under the sanction list, the Petunia and the Clavel, recently delivered Iranian gasoline to Venezuela, tanker tracking data showed.
