According to the company’s website news release on February 15, 2023, Vitol Asia has signed a long-term commitment for the exclusive use of a dedicated bitumen storage facility now under construction by engineering firm Rotary Group, at the VTTI ATB terminal in Malaysia. Operated by VTTI, this modern facility will be adjacent to Vitol’s recently commissioned ATB refinery in Johor State. Once commissioned in 2024, it will enable Vitol to offer its customers in the Asia-Pacific region an enhanced range of bitumen products and services.
Marking the ground-breaking ceremony on February 15th, 2023 Mike Muller, Head of Vitol Asia and member of the Executive Committee said, “We are very excited to be extending our footprint in this growing region, and to be able to offer improved value propositions to our customers across Asia and beyond.”
