Brazil’s state-owned oil company Petroleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras) said that its 239,000-bpd Duque de Caxias refinery runs only half of its installed capacity after a fuel oil leak caused a fire at the refinery’s distillation units on June 15. The company stated that product deliveries would be unaffected, thanks to its stockpiles. However, it did not disclose when it would resume normal operation at the plant.
