According to China’s General Administration of Customs, the total imports of PE have surged by around 120k tons in November compared to the previous month, at around 1.46 mil tons.
The top 5 import origins of PE to China in November were Saudi Arabia (337,519 tons), Iran (243,273 tons), United Arab Emirates (146,796 tons), Singapore (110,714 tons) and South Korea (104,708 tons). The increase in the import volume of Iran PE in November was the highest compared to other origins, at about 75,000 tons compared to October.
For HDPE, the total import quantity has surged by around 65k tons in November compared to the previous month, at around 709k tons. The top 5 import origins to China in November were Saudi Arabia (185,647 tons), Iran (142,385 tons) United Arab Emirates (96,790 tons), South Korea (64,502 tons) and India (27,643 tons).
For LDPE, the total import quantity has increased by around 28k tons in November compared to the previous month, at around 296k tons. The top 5 import origins to China in November were Iran (66,527 tons), Saudi Arabia (39,594 tons), Qatar (31,514 tons) United States (26,370 tons) and United Arab Emirates (25,657 tons).
For LLDPE, the total import quantity has grown by around 27k tons in November compared to the previous month, at around 450k tons. The top 5 import origins to China in October were Saudi Arabia (112,278 tons), Singapore (93,284 tons), Thailand (50,613 tons), Iran (34,362 tons) and United Arab Emirates (24,348 tons).
