- A Ningbo-based trader revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM regarding the adjustment on import PE offers of Qatar origin. As compared to last week’s level, offers for HDPE Film from Qatar increased between $30-40/ton, stand at $770-780/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis. For LLDPE Film C4 of the same origin, the offers increased by $50/ton as compared to the same period, currently stand at $740/ton with the same payment and shipment term. The trader does not have any interest to buy due to sufficient inventory on-hand. Moreover, the trader opined that the uptrend would not last for a long time, as such, it is not a good time to stock up materials.
- On the supply side, market sources reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that the inventory of the two leading Chinese polyolefins producers recorded at 890,000 tons as of Wednesday morning. Compared to a day earlier, the inventory decreased by 20,000 tons.
