- A trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that their offers for local PE cargoes across all grades have been adjusted further. For HDPE Film and LDPE Film, the offers reduced by CNY300/ton ($42/ton) and CNY400/ton ($57/ton) respectively from Monday’s level. While for LLDPE Film C4, the offers decreased by CNY200/ton ($28/ton) as compared to the same period.
- From the import market, a trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the import offers for Saudi HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 cargoes were adjusted down by $40/ton and $20/ton respectively from last week. The trader stated that the company does not have any plans to make procurement as the market is sluggish. Moreover, the trader opined that most players will adopt a wait and see stance following the recent crashes in crude oil prices.
